I beg to differ by Gustave Flaubert, in relation to his adage that the artist is a disease of society as well as the pearl is the oyster disease. I agree that the artist and society as well as the pearl is the oyster, but is one that the other, both artist and pearl, are not diseases, but ... Something horrible create something beautiful.  |
